Diagnostic Imaging

We can offer a full range of imaging techniques across our sites. Our imaging facilities include:

• 1.5T high-field MRI scanners
• 16-slice CT scanners
• Fully digital x-ray suites at all of our sites
• High definition ultrasound scanners
• PACS to store and view images

We also provide an outpatient imaging service to allow vets to request one of our advanced diagnostic imaging services (echocardiography, abdominal ultrasound, CT and MRI scanner) without the need for a full referral. The diagnostic imaging report will then be returned directly to the primary veterinary surgeon who has requested the service.

Teleradiology

In March 2019 CVS launched a new internal teleradiology service. The service is led by renowned veterinary Specialist Tim Trevail BVetMed CertVDI DipECVDI MRCVS, Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, who provides reporting of all diagnostic imaging modalities and clinical advice for our Specialist-led centres.
